America WIM Stardust Apocolypse
We wind our way up the Hollywood hills in a two car convoy hell-bent on catching a meteor shower, pulled by cosmic dust amongst the yellow glow of a flicker city, the lamp lit miles of flat and then us in the hills that cut it all in half…Out of cars and traversing our way up the hilltop in boots and tailored shoes, climbing to the Hollywood sign and the hellish-cum-dystopian-cum-beautiful spectacle that is Los Angeles from the hilltops…a glowing monster. A congregation brought here on the fringes of desert and ocean…and amongst it all, alone on the tip of it, us…
We sang songs, acapella, hit body parts, made music…we made it feel real. What an amazing thing it is to cross a planet and find yourself in such a space…people brought together by creativity and feelings and so we were there singing classic songs, songs broadcast from this place we found ourselves onto our unsuspecting minds when we were children.
Above the Hollywood sign, amidst the glow, we finally arrived after nearly three weeks. One more day in the studio and the music begins to take shape. The music brought us here but friendships make the prospect of leaving a throat-lumper. Not long Los Angeles. Now acquainted we won’t be gone for too long. Thank you for your lessons and life. Thank you Alex, Bob, Rupert, Ryan, Brandon, Vavine, Matt…and a host of others…the most gracious of hosts you certainly have been.

Article in LA Times
Just woke up today with an article in LA times. Exciting! Click here for the article
But! not sure about the line “They’re called Wim, ‘as in Wim Wenders,’ they said, which might make it the most pretentious three-letter band name in music history”.hahaha probably true but my feeling is if you want to know the meaning of WIM… its - What It Means! Thats it.
