About:

“Wim is getting a lot of early "Rufus Wainwright fronting Grizzly Bear" descriptions, which is a pretty fair place to start…it's no mixing trick -- in person the band murders four-part harmonies that will leave you dizzy and haunted for the whole ride home.” – Los Angeles Times

Australia’s latest export, WIM have announced that they will be making their way to New York, playing four very special CMJ showcases followed by two headlining shows. This unique Sydney-based five-piece –which will be releasing their self-titled debut on November 15th on Modular Recordings—have also released an amazing new live video for “See You Hurry”.

WIM creates beautifully dense and catchy tunes, filled with lush harmonies, reverb-drenched guitars and colossal choruses. Live, their tripartite frontline dazzles with the twin attacks of a floor tom-pounding keyboardist and bow-strumming guitarist. This is all instantly crystallized in a vocalist whose spine-tingling falsettos are as reliable as his not wearing shoes. You do not want to miss out on these swoon-worthy performances in New York!
